Your brain is hardwired to feel negative emotions. Negative emotions actually travel faster along your neural pathways than positive ones do. This was God’s design so that we would survive in a broken world. Though emotions are nuanced, Life Model Works has narrowed things down to six basic negative emotions that we can all learn to identify in ourselves. The longer we stay in a negative emotion, the harder it is on us. Check the links for Life Model Works videos.

We need to grow new pathways in our brain to return to joy from each individual emotion.

It’s good to begin with returning to joy from a smaller emotion. Hearing others share how they have returned to joy can teach us a great deal.

Ultimately, this kind of brain training is done at a Thrive Training Conference.
